The Melbourne Zoo is turning 150 this year, and to celebrate the zoo will be putting on a
series of summer concerts for children to enjoy. These concerts will be held every day in January and for every weekend in February 2012.
Think The Wiggles. Children will be given an opportunity to dance along to their favourites at the zoo stage with the likes of Blinky Bill and Dorothy The Dinosaur to name a few. During this event, children under the age of 15 will also receive free entry to the zoo every day through the school holidays and every weekend.
Furthermore, there will be additional appearances from the zoo's wildlife superhero and his platypus puppet friend - who is designed to increase awareness about conserving our wildlife, in a fun, enlightening and educational way.
