Christmas is packed away for another year, as is New Year's Day with its promises of better times to come.
What now? There's still school holiday fun to be had and, with long days and balmy evenings, it's the best time of the year for family fun.
Since 2008, The City of West Torrens has been holding free community events, largely in the West Torrens Memorial Gardens. Last year, the Council expanded the original program and the venues – it's now known as the City's Summer Festival and activities are spread across the council area.
Everyone is welcome – it's not just for the ratepayers of the City of West Torrens!
Fork by Fork West (Fork on the Road)

The outdoor stage features performances by The Wheatsheaf Ukulele Collective, Todd Sibbin and The Arcadian Driftwood, Conchillia, and Aaron Thomas. The Wanderers Rock 'n' Roll Car Club will display more than 50 cars and the Thebarton Community Centre presents The Rhythm Cats, DJ Peter Panagaris and Adelaide Classic Rock 'n' Roll dancers. BYO chairs and blankets. Licensed event (no BYO allowed).
