Bring out your inner geek raise funds for medical research

How would you like to raise some funds to help find cures for chronic diseases? Well, this May you can suit up for science and channel your inner geek by hosting a morning tea, lunch, afterwork drinks or even an awareness day with a scientist as your host. Be as silly as you want to raise some money for a seriously good cause - supporting medical research.

All you need to do is organise a team, register and start raising money. Galvanise everyone you know into having some fun by decorating your school, home or office; dress like scientists for the event, theme your food and drinks, or what about a science themed phone booth?

Join in all the fun and frivolity this May for The Centenary Institute Medical Research Foundation as they fund research to help find cures for chronic diseases. Help spread the word of this Foundation's great work by being a part of Suit up for Science.

When you register you'll see how to buy some great merchandise like lab coats and geeky glasses so your teams' inner geeks can truly shine. Click here for more information. The official start date is May 2, 2016 but events can be held throughout May.
