If you've spent any time living in Asia you know how fundamental to life a steaming bowl of noodle soup is. If you are a visitor or a regular in Adelaide city you have the chance to try out this restaurant and enjoy their very fresh and delicious food.



The restaurant is open from 12 until closed (the actual wording on the front door to the restaurant), from Monday to Friday. After 4pm it is take away only.



The location is 88 Gawler Place so very convenient and central. We found the restaurant to be super clean and the service super, super efficient. On walking in you can find a seat and true to authentic Asian restaurant style the tables are small and close together. There is an upstairs section where you can apparently sit if you are a party of three or more people. Upstairs was cordoned off when we visited. When I inquired about the bathroom they directed me to the nearest public toilet in the city cross across the road so plan ahead to enjoy a comfortable lunchtime sit down meal without interruption and a dash across the road.



As the name of the restaurant suggests fresh noodle soup is their specialty. We ordered Beef noodle soup and dumplings. Both highly recommended and extremely reasonably priced. The menu is more extensive though so you have a number of choices all with different levels of spiciness. There is also pre-prepared dishes that can be seen at the counter upon ordering. There is no doubt from the taste and texture of the noodles that they are made fresh. Pots of green tea are brought to the table when ordered and other drinks can be accessed from the fridges. Condiments of fresh chilli and other sauces are also on hand to add to taste.



Service was swift and you will no sooner make your order and pay for it than your meal will be brought steaming hot from the kitchen to your table. The staff are equally swift to take away your empty dishes when you are done.



Sui Yuang is a great lunch time option and there is nothing better than a belly full of hot noodle soup to warm you up or to get you through the rest of the working day.
