Expand your horizons and head to a place where the desserts look strange but taste delicious. Sugarbowl Dessert Place has an interesting mix of traditional and Asian desserts that will intrigue you, and hopefully satisfy your sweet tooth.



Sugarbowl definitely offers a range of very interesting desserts. This includes things like the rice ball soups and the bean pancakes. You can also enjoy other Asian favourites like mango with black sticky rice and fried ice cream. For people new to Asian desserts, some of the names of flavour combinations may put you off, but it is definitely worth trying some. Head to Sugarbowl with a large group and order desserts to share, that way you can be a bit more adventurous and give some of the more interesting ones a try. You might find yourself pleasantly surprised.



For those traditionalists wanting to stick to their tried and trusted desserts, Sugarbowl does these too. Get stuck into a creme brulee or choose from their delicious range of waffles. There are also plenty of ice cream flavours to choose from, although some of these are a bit out of the norm with flavours like green tea and wasabi. Regardless of what you're ordering, the food is well presented and very tasty.



Sugarbowl is open late, and there is a really great atmosphere in the place. You feel like you can settle down in your spot and stay there for as long as you want. It isn't uncommon to see large groups sitting around chatting or playing cards long after they've finished their meals. You can sit in one of the cosy Sugarbowl booths or on the long central table.





If you are sticking around for a long time then you'll want to order some drinks, and thankfully Sugarbowl also have a good range of these. Choose from refreshing drinks like passionfruit juice or young coconut juice, or tuck into a smoothie. You can also order coffee, tea or hot chocolate. They are the perfect accompaniment to your meal.

Sugarbowl is a very interesting place, and it is a great way to end your night if you've been out in town. There desserts are reasonably priced and worth a try. Head there with a large group and enjoy their comfy booths and relaxed atmosphere. Branch out every once and a while and try some of their more interesting desserts.
