Bowling, karaoke, pizza and beer are all pretty great, so it's no surprise that someone had the bright idea to combine them all into one club. The result is
Strike Bowling Bar, a series of bowling alleys with onsite bars, pizza parlours and other entertainment.
The Strike franchise was founded in 2001 with the opening on Strike on Chapel Street in Melbourne. The franchise moved into Queensland in 2005 and currently has nine different bars around Australia.
Strike has two locations in Queensland.
Strike Bowling Brisbane was the first to open in Queensland and can be found in the
Wintergarden in the CBD. It has twelve bowling lanes equipped with UV lighting and audio visual projectors playing the latest hit music. The bar and cafe serves cocktails, beer and gourmet pizza. This venue also provides pool tables, karaoke and arcade games and is an addition to the cities nightlife scene.

Strike Surfers Paradise is located on the Gold Coast on
Cavill Avenue. As well as the twelve public bowling lanes, pool tables and karaoke, this venue also rents out private bowling lanes and karaoke rooms. Strike Surfers contains a restaurant and licensed bar that serves a variety of cocktails.
