The Blacktown Festival for 2009 will be frocking-up from this Saturday (23rd of May) and will feature over 16 different events over 7 days.

This biggest event of the week is Streets Alive taking place on the 30th in the Blacktown CBD which will feature "over 350 street stalls, 6 performance stages, free amusement rides, exciting displays and heaps of attractions".

Other events which should be worth a visit include an Environmental Expo, Skyworks Planetarium, Whalan May Fair, and even the My Lords & Ladies Medieval Fayre looks like lots of fun.
