Strawberry Fields (
133 Lawnton Road, Palmview) produces more than 1.5 million punnets of strawberry a year and have opened their farms for the public to enjoy.
Strawberry Fields is located on the Sunshine Coast across the road from
Aussie World. As well as delicious strawberries, the venue also offers a tractor playground for the kiddies and the Strawberry Fields Cafe for adults. Visitors can pick their own strawberries from June until the end of October, or all year round at their Stanthorpe farm (
2 West Road).
Tours of the Palmview farm are available and include a video presentation and talk on the industry and a lucky door prize. For an extra $15.00, visitors enjoy a barbeque lunch, or for $8.00 a Devonshire tea. Both lunch options come with bottomless tea and coffee.
