After much humming and hawing about what to do on Sunday, we finally decided to check out Jan Power's Farmers Market in Stones Corner. It has only been a few months since it's arrival in Stones Corner but judging by the crowd on Sunday, they are proving quite popular.
We didn't arrive until well after 11 o'clock; probably crazy (because of the heat) or perhaps a stroke of genius. The market was still in full swing with plenty of people still browsing the stalls, but the vendors were keen to lighten their load for the trip home. We bagged some great bargains on fresh fruit and veggies, kingfish, and Greek style yoghurt.
The vendors are the same ones that frequent Jan Power's other markets: Powerhouse, Manly, Michelton and Queen Street Mall. Although not as large as say, the Powerhouse Market, there is still a huge selection of stalls selling a wide variety including baklava, bratwurst, cupcakes, flowers, fresh juice, homewares, honey, muesli, smoothies, yoghurt and just in time for Christmas - hams, cakes and puddings.
, located on Logan Road (closed to traffic on market day), is on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month from 6 am until 12 pm.

Although I would recommend going early to get the best produce, there are some advantages to arriving late: easy parking, small crowds, and awesome deals.
