It's perfectly ripe timing for the culling of Stevie fans everywhere to flock en masse to where the divine Nicks will be expected to perform live for her Australian 'In Your Dreams' tour, slated for this November and December, in the promotion of her seventh solo album of the same name.
Fans will get a double treat with what's in tow as Nicks won't be touring alone. 'In Your Dreams' tour is one-part Fleetwood Mac homage, two-parts Stevie-solo and the rest is interspersed with the supporting act manifesting itself as no other than the equally acclaimed Dave A. Stewart, of the Eurythmics fame. A celebrated and accomplished musician in his own right, having penned many successful hits in his wake, Stewart is one of the masterminds (the other being songwriter Glen Ballard) behind the conception of the 'In Your Dreams' album.

As the other half of the dynamic duo, there's not much to be said that hasn't already been touched upon by rock-journal tabloids about the life, fame and tribulations of Nicks. It should come as no surprise that she had scaled the tremendous ups and down of the rock-and-roller-coaster ride throughout her music career -- typical rock-star shenanigans, I hear you say -- but her music is set apart from the rest of the rock world, and especially from today's cookie-cutter brands of music.
Genuine, stiflingly nostalgic and melancholic at times, her music tells of the fleeting moments of life, that lingering touch of love and loss and the wistful dramas of being attached to the past. Indeed, it's been one heck of a memorable past, spanning over four decades of musical persuasion, as Nicks is a stirring song-writer whose poignant words touch just about every soul -- something that doesn't come without its costs as the words were sung from a forlorn, distant past experienced by Nicks, en route to finding her success as a decorated musician.

Case in point, the feel of the song, 'Dreams', written by Nicks, from Fleetwood Mac's 'Rumours' album and a definite hit on her set-list for the tour, was shaped during a time rife with emotional upheavals. 'Dreams' went on to become one of the band's chart-topping successes.
Expect a walk down memory lane with hits like this, and many others, as both Nicks and Stewart, during the tour, revisit their greatest highlights from their individual solo careers and respective bands.

Far from being considered just 'old-school heritage' musicians, Nicks and Stewart are the perfect embodiment of a timeless rock-and-roll heirloom variety which should be cultivated more often in today's music scene. Hence, their latest collaboration is certainly deemed a dream in the making.
Prepare to be rocked to the core by their coming 'In Your Dreams' tour.
