An empty stage. The anticipation of the audience. The hush as the stage lights dim and a voice comes through the speakers. The giggling that follows when everyone realises that Stephen K Amos is actually introducing himself. The cheering when he comes into view.

He greets the crowd and reprimands us when we don't say "hello" back. This approachable feel continues for the rest of the show, with people in the crowd answering questions and offering advice.

What I liked about the show, besides that it being incredibly funny, was that it also made you think. He questioned why we as a society listen to certain people, like footballers or pop stars. And who should we look up to, who has the answers? If that didn't make sense, you should definitely go and see the show for yourself. As far as I can tell, tickets are sold out in Adelaide, however you may be lucky enough to already be going or to grab a ticket from someone who can no longer go. Unlucky for them, very lucky for you. If not, he is heading to Melbourne next month.
