St Leonards park in North Sydney is the largest park in the area. Spread over 40 acres of lush green trees this park is easy to spot on the corner of Miller street and Falcon street. It is a 15 minute walk from the North Sydney station and is easily reachable by buses

The North Sydney Oval is a popular sporting field for rugby matches and cricket too. The place is always bustling with sporting matches and the cheering spectators.
The open area in the park is used to air some starlight cinemas in the months of January and February. If you are lucky you might come across a movie screening event in November or December too. With an inflatable screen to showcase the cinema, the park's movie shows are very popular among the locals.
