Sprout Wholefood is a wholefoods cafe that serves fresh and delicious organic meals from locally sourced produce. It's nestled on the busy Willoughby Road of Naremburn, right next to the office of Gladys Berejiklian, Member of Parliament for Willoughby.

It is a cosy cafe with inviting takeaway coffee counter and decant dessert cabinets at the front. Walk a little further towards the back and you'll find yourself in a spectacular, bright and colourful garden-chic dining area complete with veggie patch and cubby house.

The back area is very family friendly where there is a large enclosed grass area for the young children and toddler to play while the parents can relax and enjoy a healthy and delicious wholefoods meal.

It was a warm day so we selected a table under the shade where we've got a beautiful, natural greenery garden outlook. We were feeling health-conscious and decided to start our breakfast with some freshly squeezed juices.

We ordered the Alive juice ($7.95) and the Energised juice ($7.95) because we were inspired by the names of the juices. The descriptions of the various healthy benefits in the juices were therapeutic enough.

The Alive juice contained cucumber, celery, apple, kale and lemon. It was packed with live greens and it aimed to support overall health, assisted to invigorate cells to feel more lively.

The Energised juice contained orange, apple, watermelon, and lemon. It used nature's zest to renew our vitality, to alkalize and to re-energize.

We were pleasantly surprised how good the juices were.

We browsed the menu with keen interest and I was really torn between a number of the delectable items in their menus. Sprout's lunch menu also looked appetizing but they were not available until 11:30am.

I decided upon the Super Naked Breakfast ($17.50). Although I'm an enthusiastic meat-eater, this was as good as red meat.

The Super Naked Breakfast contained grilled haloumi cheese slices, flavoursome sauteed mushrooms, fresh avocado and tomato salsa topped with Sprout super green pesto. Two wobbly soft poached eggs added to the perfect finish. It seemed a lot on the plate but they tasted utterly delicious together.

My friend ordered the Sprouted Wellness Stack ($14.50) which consisted of two slices of Spring wellness sprouted bread topped with cashew mayonnaise, fermented veggies, avocado, pickled beetroot and baby spinach.

The wellness spouted bread was solidly packed with nutritious goodness and they were quite dense in texture. But combined with all other ingredients, it was actually quite a tasty, filling dish.

We were surprised and impressed by the flavour and quality of these wholefood dishes. We felt full, satisfied and energised afterward.

As a North Shore local, I can't believe it has taken me this long to find this delightful establishment.

Sprouts offers delicious vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free meals and I highly recommend this place if you have any type of food allergy or intolerance. Overall, the food tasted healthy and delicious but slightly pricey in general.
