This two day event festival continues to grow with visitors participating in a range of events for people of all ages.

The Springfest Market celebrates its 13th year. There will be over 350 stall holders around the foreshore of Lake Wendouree, with art and craft, food, music, jewellery, giftwares, and activities for the kids.

The Tram Pull is where corporate teams pit their strength against each other in a time trial race where two trams are pulled over a distance of 20 metres along the old tracks at Lake Wendouree.

Show and Glow motor show and car display will feature a display of over 300 spectacular vehicles from car clubs and private collectors.

Event-goers can step back in time to the 1850's with a chance to pan for real gold, or you can stock up on Sovereign Hill's produce including their famous boiled lollies.

Children's activities include a giant jumping castles, wooden model making, native animal display, art competition, a reading corner, face painting, fairy floss, fancy dress, and dancing.

The Fine Food, Wine and Beer Expo is a new event where you can treat yourself to a showcase of wine, beer and food while listening to the live entertainment.

You can also participate in a Guinness World Record Attempt for the largest gathering of people wearing false moustaches. The aim is to get over 3000 people in attendance to beat the current record held by Goodyear Ballpark (USA) of 1957 people. To participate in this event there will be a gold coin donation to buy the approved false moustache.

The event take place at Loreto College Oval and gates will open at 9.30am. The record attempt will take place at 10.30am.

Other highlights include a come and try your paddling techniques on the Dragon Boats, international fest, and twilight entertainment on Saturday from a floating pontoon, with lanterns created by the region's school children.
