Located in Thornlie is an international food hall which is well known by the locals in the area. It specialises in Asian cuisine and has stalls selling foods from a range of countries including Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Vietnam and Japan.



Here is a short list of our favourite foods:

Roti Canai from Suzie's Roti and Paratha House



For the low price of $5.00 you get two serves of roti (a type of bread that is lightly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside) and a serve of curry to dip it in. Traditionally eaten with hands it really is finger licking good.

Chee Chong Fun from Fook Lee



This delicious steamed rice noodle roll is served with oyster sauce and thin slices of fried bean curd and topped with sesame seeds. The neutral flavour of the rice roll is complemented by the sweet sauce and chewiness of the bean curd.

Coconut Juice from Panda Café

A sweet and refreshing juice served with coconut flesh. Comes in two sizes and costs $3.50 for a small serve.

Penang Fried Kway Teow from Penang Cuisine



A stir fried fried flat noodle served with ingredients such as prawns, beef, egg and bean sprouts. This is a dish where you can request special ingredients added in or taken out to suit your own personal taste.

Service is usually quick although they do get busy from Thursday to Sunday evenings. However, there are always stalls selling prawn crackers, spring rolls or sushi that you could snack on while you wait.

Diners with varying dietary reaquirements - halal, vegetarian, vegan - are all catered for with the large range of foods available at this food hall.

Spencer Village is open from 11am for breakfast, lunch and dinner from Wednesdays to Sunday and Public Holidays



The prices are cheap, the venue has a family friendly atmosphere and the flavours are authentically Asian. Give it a go and you will be rewarded with a cheap and tasty meal at every visit.
