Hello readers, I have to say that Spec Ops is a great game. I have played it now for a week and finished the game.

Spec Ops: The Line is a third-person shooter video game developed by Yager Development and published by 2K Games.

One of the best attributes of the game is the fact that it has a great storyline. I won't go into detail, so there won't be any spoilers. You play as Captain Martin Walker with his team consisting of Lugo and Adams.

The story is based in Dubai, where terrible sandstorms have hit since the past 6 months. Martin and his team initially just have to find and extract survivors, however as the events unfold, their mission is continually changing.

Throughout the game you have to make decisions; sometimes it can make the game more difficult or make it easier, depending on which path/choice you choose. There are a few different ending scenarios as well.

To all you achievement hunters out there, they're many easy achievements to get within the game, except for maybe one or two. Sometimes you will have to play through more than once because at each point you have to make a decision - you can earn an achievement for either one.

The combat system consists of a lot of taking cover and using squad based tactics to help you out in battle. Cover is essential in this game and it is a very similar style to the Gears Of War series. There are many guns in the game such as assault rifles, shotguns, sniper rifles, SMGs and LMGs.

The online is alright, for me I prefer the campaign over the online gameplay. This mode has several game types such as: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Buried, and Objective. There's a levelling system similar to the Call of Duty online multiplayer - the more you level up, the more equipment you unlock. There are also perks online which can give you advantages in certain ways.

Overall I recommend this game to anyone who loves a good story line or who just loves a great shooter.
