Spartan Australia is coming to SA - come and join the revolution and race amongst thousands of Spartans!On Saturday 26th August 2017, challenge yourself with a Spartan Race set on the epic Paris Creek venue.No gimmicks. No electric shocks. Just a great vibe and a host of exciting obstacles! Whilst you won't know what you will face exactly (what fun would that be!) you can be assured that there will be fire, mud, water, barbed wire, and occasionally 'hell on earth'. At the end, you'll face off against the gladiators in the race to the finish.The Spartan Race is designed to pull you from your comfort zone and challenge you physically. Regardless of your fitness level, there is a course for you. For beginners, there is 7km Sprint , packed with 20 obstacles. If you fail an obstacle along the way, you are required to do 30 burpees before continuing on. First-time racers are eligible for a 'Rookie Pass', which allows them to skip the burpee penalties. If you are ready for more, the Super course is 14km with 25 obstacles. You can also attempt both distances as a Combo ! For kids under 14 years of age, there are 2km Junior Races which promote teamwork, fun and getting muddy!On Sunday 27th August 2017, you can take part in the unique 4-hour Hurricane Heat event, which is a high-intensity team training session, led by a team of specialist trainers.
