Thursday night isn't what most people would call the pinnacle of the week. It's been so long since the weekend, and Friday still stands between you and your plans. But what if I told you that Thursday night could actually be the best night of your week? A kind of salute to the weekend ahead. Well guess what guys, I'm telling you exactly that!

Snitch, a weekly themed event night at the X&Y Bar (648 Ann St, Fortitude Valley) is sure to bring warmth to your heart and a smile to your lips, or something. They party it up every Thursday night, to a range of different costume themes and musical stylings - but always feature a plethora of fantastic live bands and disc jockeys so good they should be investigated by the racing steward.



Snitch emphasise affordability, with drink prices designed to fit the tightest of budgets, and a door cost of only $15 (or less if you have the right connections). I suggest the Jungle Juice, which should probably be illegal, but at only eight bucks who can complain!

Snitch and X&Y pride themselves on providing a safe, friendly, accepting and social atmosphere, and the event is fantastic for people new to the area, as somebody will always want to hear your story and introduce you to all their mates. Also a plus is the relaxed dress code, tattoos and piercings here are fine, if not a common sight - just no Tapout or UFC!
