Sleepover is directed by Joe Nussbaum and stars Jane Lynch, Steve Carell, Alexa Vega, Mika Boorem, Sara Paxton, Kallie Flynn Childress and Scout Taylor-compton.This film was just made to watch at tweenage girls' slumber parties as it is a fun film, aimed at tweens and early teens, which even makes us older "kids" feel all nostalgic about our own childhood sleepovers with our friends.

The film tells the story of a group of girls, in their final year of junior school and feeling melancholy about going to high school and saying goodbye to their friend Hannah, who's family is moving away to Vancouver. The girls start out having a sleepover and end up finding themselves in an epic scavenger hunt, with the prize being the privilege of sitting at "the lunch spot" on the high school campus, leaving one of the girl's older and extremely goofy brother to make sure their parents don't find out they ever left the house - resulting in a hilarious scene of a group of boys, pretending to be the girls, by wearing their clothes, shoes and wigs singing and dancing to a song by The Spice Girls!

The girls team up with a group of dorky boys from their school and the fun begins, the more items they find, the deeper into trouble they get - breaking tree houses, crashing cars, finding romance and having the greatest time of their young lives, which results in some absolutely hilarious antics for the whole family to enjoy.

Sleepover is rated PG, as there are thematic elements involving tween/teen dating, some sensuality and language and was originally released on DVD in 2005.

9/10
