Sleepovers seem to be happening everywhere these days - Swedish furniture giant IKEA are even
getting in on the act.
For one night only, they're offering 100 people the chance to spend the small hours in one of its enormous stores. If you're a fan of massive furniture outlets, this opportunity could be right up your alley.
The one-off event takes place in the bedrooms department (where else?) of
its Lakeside store in Thurrock on the evening of Sunday 27th November.
Of course, the special occasion won't be a case of simply turning up and going to bed. What would be the point of that? To make sure it's a night to remember, the store will be putting on an evening of "entertainment, treats, surprises, special guests and bedtime rituals." And all for free.
To have a chance of being selected, you'll need to enter via
the store's Facebook page, so yes, you must have a Facebook account.
All participants are required to be 25-years-old or over. Fifty names will be pulled from the hat, and each winner can take along with them one guest. You have until 21st November to get your name in, so hurry!
It may not be the obvious location for a sleepover event, but for IKEA fans - and let's face it, there are a lot out there - this has all the makings of a fun and memorable night out.
If spending a night in the store of one of the world's most successful retail businesses sounds like your kind of thing, head on over to
IKEA's Facebook page and put your name down forthwith. You never know, you might even end up buying the bed you slept in.
