One of man's greatest desires is to fly, while we've mastered this in big metal machines, skydiving is probably the closest we have got to actually flying. You don't have to fly over the volcanos of Hawaii to have an amazing skydiving experience, there are countless companies in SA that will take you up in the air only to push you out again.

Skydive Adelaide
Skydive Adelaide operates just outside of Langhourne Creek. They operate their dives every weekend, but you can also enjoy the experience during the week by prior arrangements. You'll get to enjoy the views of Lake Alexandrina, the Coorong, Murray Mouth and the South Coast, spectacular views that are unique to the South Australian landscape. If you have friends and family who would rather watch you than take the plunge themselves, they can watch you from below and enjoy the barbeque and picnic facilities while you dive.

Skydive Goolwa
See some great coastal views when you choose to jump with Skydive Goolwa. The plane ride and the dive will let you view the gorgeous landscape, and if you choose to dive in winter you also have the possibility of seeing some whales on the waves. Not only will you be absolutely blown away by the skydiving experience, but you'll also get a chance to relive it through the video and photo packages available and Skydive Goolwa will throw in a free t-shirt for you.

Adelaide Tandem Skydiving
Head up in the air with Adelaide Tandem Skydiving, the closest skydiving spot to Adelaide. Your friends and family can enjoy barbeque and picnic facilities while you're taking the dive, and they even have a clubroom with a foosball table and a pool table. Tandem skydiving allows you to enjoy the exhilarating feeling of jumping out of a plane, without having to learn all of the technical aspects of solo skydiving.

There are so many different options for enjoying the skydiving experience. Tandem skydiving is the best way to experience skydiving when you're just starting out, but after you become a bit more experienced you might want to look at starting solo dives. You can earn a solo skydiving licence, or just keep diving tandem for the thrill. Once you have experienced your first dive, if you catch the skydiving bug you open yourself up to seeing so many unique views of not only Australia but countries all over the world. Skydiving offers you a once in a lifetime experience, that you can have over and over again.
