Win two free passes to the sk8House – Back to the 80's Roller Disco on Saturday 29th July from 6pm to 9pm in Carrum Downs. Prizes will be awarded for best dressed 80's outfit and heaps of roller fun is guaranteed. To enter, please send an email with ROLLER DISCO in the subject line. Entries close Thursday 27th July 2017, with tickets available for collection at the venue on the night.

If you're an 80's child you probably remember lacing up some skates or strapping on some blades before whizzing about humming a few bars of Xanadu. Now we're the parents, introducing our kids to the best fun they can have on four wheels while reliving some great memories. I had forgotten how much fun roller skating could be – and what a workout it is. This really is a great activity the entire family can do together. You'll have a great laugh and feel good afterwards.

Sk8House host a range of fun activity nights throughout the year, with the next special night being the Back to the 80's Roller Disco on Friday 29th July 2017, starting at 6pm and rolling right through to 9pm at the rink in Carrum Downs. No doubt the soundtrack will include some classic 80's tunes and costumes are encouraged. Pull out your shoulder pads, afro wigs and bright pink lippy. It needs to be big, bright and bold if you're going to win the prize for best dressed at this 80's disco. Entry is $12 per person with an additional $2 for skate hire. You have a choice of either skates or blades, or why not swap throughout the night and give both a go?

Learn to skate and adult refresher classes are available, while the friendly Sk8House staff are on hand during all general sessions to offer assistance as you find your balance – and your wheels - out on the rink.

Sk8House is open during the week and right across the weekend and is a great party or function venue for people of all ages. Take advantage of cheap Tuesdays & Wednesday with entry being only $9 for skating between 4pm and 6pm. Other public sessions are held on Friday night from 7pm to 10pm, Saturday and Sunday with both morning and afternoon start times. General entry is $12 with an additional $2 skate hire. All skate classes are $12 and include entry to the general session either before or afterwards.

On Wednesday morning tiny tots are welcome for only $7. This includes a learn how to skate class, games and general skating session, while carers/guardians are invited to enjoy a cuppa from the cafe and a catch-up with friends.

Sk9House offers the choice of either traditional or inline skates (roller blades) for hire. Protective gear such as helmets are not necessary, just be sure and wear comfortable clothing.
