Sirius Park Playground is positioned in the perfect spot. The large ship themed playground has a viewing platform to look out over all the boats below. Your children can choose to be sea captains or pirates, as the commandeer the big blue ship. It is a fun place to play, but also has space to relax.
The playground is not huge, but it is well themed for the area. As well as the ship, there is a set of swings, and a look out. The look out is great for those who aren't playing as well, as you'll see a nice view of the boats. There is a steering wheel for any kids who want to make the platform their own sea vessel. The ship climbing frames, and portholes, and is great for themed play between kids.
There isn't much space to run around, so if you're looking for a park to have a kick of the footy this isn't the best place. The park sits on a slope, and there is a nice terraced area that is great for picnics. Find your own private spot, and you'll feel a world away from the sea games happening above. There is also a bench if all you want to do is sit for a while.
Sirius Park Playground also has a stairs leading to Cremorne Point Foreshore walk. Either start at the park and make your way down, or go for a walk for the kids and make the playground a special trip on your walk. Walking along the Cremorne Point foreshore walk you'll see some beautiful views, as well as having access to the local swimming pool.
Sirius Park Playground is just a short walk along the foreshore from the Cremorne Point ferry stop. If you're heading into the city, or along to Mosman, you can stop off on the playground as well. There isn't too much at the park other than the playground, but it is definitely a fun one for the kids.
