Art collectors, lovers, enthusiasts, professionals and novices will be ecstatic as Singapore is transformed into a gigantic art gallery in November. Whether you're into paintings, photographs, contemporary works or emerging artists, there's something for you throughout the month. Here are the FREE and ticketed art exhibitions happening around the island to keep your senses reeling.

TCC The Gallery, 1 Nov - 30 Nov



The leading chain of art boutique cafes, The Connoisseur Concerto (TCC), has hosted 35 art exhibitions since 2004 in addition to offer gourmet food and beverages. Head over TCC's The Gallery at 51 Circular Road in November as it presents an art exhibition in collaboration with creative agency fFurious, events organisation art-management.com and Thunder Rock School.

Entitled 'Singled Out', the curation brings together 50 local designers and artists who transform their personal vinyl records into works of art for display at the TCC The Gallery. In addition to showcasing the artists' creativity and interpretations, the exhibition draws the viewer's attention to the visual aesthetic of music through the vinyl records and reunites the forgotten relationship between music and design. One East Asia ARTSpace, 5 - 23 Nov



Located in Orchard Road's Thong Teck Building is a Singapore-based art management organization dedicated to enrich the appreciation of Southeast Asian Art internationally. All eyes are on Myanmar as One East Asia presents 'Myanmar in a Transition Period: Great Expectations and Countless Risks', curated by Intersections and showcasing 5 female artists. The exhibition reflects the political, economic and social uncertainties that face the country since the end of military rule in 2011.

The mood of the transition period is reflected in the works of women artists who span 3 different generations and apply different styles, mediums and techniques. Themes captured on canvas and photographs include Buddhist imagery and symbolism, family traditions, femininity and environmental issues. Admission is FREE. ION Art Gallery, 14 -17 Nov



Located within one of the island's premier shopping mall is 5,000 square foot of exhibition space. From 14 - 17 November the ION Art gallery on level 4 of ION Orchard will showcase the works of 3 emerging local artists by The Art Fellas.

Danya Yu, a First Class honours graduate from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), is known for her romanticised paintings of Singapore's cityscape. Tew Bee Lan graduated with First Class Honours Degree in Fine Arts from NAFA and illustrates the daily struggles between man and nature through abstract art. Yen Phang is a law graduate turned visual artist whose works explore how people create and negotiate meaning and intention through the currency of signs, be they visual, verbal or gestural.

Entitled 'Just Beyond', the curation by Florence Martellini brings together a collection created from each artist's journey overseas in search of the philosophical meaning of life and discovery of "oneself". Admission is FREE. Visit the website or phone (65) 62388228 for more information.

ArtScience Museum, 15 - 30 Nov



The ArtScience Museum in Marina Bay is popular for its one-of-a-kind exhibitions. In addition to the rare photographs by Annie Leibovitz , the museum will host original masterpieces from one of the world's most celebrated geniuses, Leonardo da Vinci. Working closely with Biblioteca Ambrosiana in Milan and the Foundation Cardinale Federico Borromeo, this is the first time such works will travel to Southeast Asia and shown only in Singapore. Entitled 'Da Vinci: Shaping the Future', this rare exhibition will open on 15 November and run till 17 May 2015.

Visitors can enjoy a curation which explores the life, work, and legacy of this renown artist and scientist including his 5 key domains of mathematics, natural sciences, technology, architecture and music. Combining his original works with interactive education exhibits, technology, film and contemporary art, this unique exhibition will also explore how da Vinci's genius and creativity continue to inspire and shape the future. Artcommune Gallery, 15 - 29 Nov



Singapore's first studio-gallery where artists work within the gallery will present recent works by contemporary Chinese ink painter, Li Jian Gang. Entitled 'Lyricism of Solitude', this is the 2nd solo exhibition by the China-born artist in Singapore with 25 painting on showcase.

Li specializes in the Chinese "da xieyi" (freehand) painting method of cityscapes and is known for his lively brushwork and sensitive expression with ink smudges. Don't miss Li's 6-panel work spanning 1.8 metres in length on display at the Artcommune Gallery. Admission is FREE.

Affordable Art Fair, 20 - 23 November



The 5th addition of the Affordable Art Fair arrives at the F1 Pit Building in Marina Bay. Founded by Will Ramsay of Will's Art Warehouse, this art event continues to bring a large variety of art at affordable prices to the masses. You can enjoy browsing 108 Singaporean and international galleries from around world and selecting artworks from more than 950 artists, priced between $100 and $10,000. Singapore Art Fair, 27 - 30 November



The Singapore Art Fair debuts at Suntec Singapore following the success of the Beirut Art Fair and providing a timely platform for the organisers to promote the art of the Middle East, North Africa and South and Southeast Asia in Singapore . This first-of-its-kind contemporary art fair on the island will feature 60 galleries from around the world, 20 solo artist show booths, interactive and multimedia performances and thematic platforms.
