Broadbeach's already impressive dining scene has another new addition, . Found in the Oracle Centre on Surf Parade, Sinartra's opened its doors in late September of 2013.

Wander past on your way to the shops or the beach and you'll likely see a sandwich board out the front promoting a meal special or two - would half-price pizzas all day grab your attention? It was this that prompted me to give Sinartra's a try.

The decor features a simple black and white theme, with seating also available outside if you want to take advantage of the sea breeze. There's also a smallish bar area inside if you feel like a quiet drink or two before dinner.

The menu is quite extensive and features all the Italian restaurant staples, with dining available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can start off with a half-dozen oysters ($18), a trio of dips with focaccia toast fingers ($18), or choose from a huge range of items to create your own antipasti platter.

[ADVERT]There are 14 pizzas to choose from, including the Diavolo (tomato, mozzarella, salami, capsicum, Spanish onion, chilli - $25 for large), Vegetariana (tomato, mozzarella, mushrooms, capsicum, Spanish onion, spinach, roast pumpkin - $25 for large) and even a creation featuring bugs, smoked salmon and prawns for $36.

A large range of pastas and risottos are next on the list. Try the fettuccini pollo funghi ($27) or the vegetariano gnocchi ($26). Other favourite mains include the pollo gamberetto (chicken breast with prawns, avocado, white wine sauce, mashed potato and Italian salad - $27) and the grilled Australian snapper fillet with a chilli, lemon butter and garlic sauce ($35).

There's a decent wine list to choose from and the wait staff are extremely friendly and attentive. On the night we visited, we unknowingly chose a table right next to one booked by a young family with energetic kids. Two separate waitresses made it clear that it would be no trouble to move us if we wished (we didn't mind), and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying our meal.

Sinartra's is a welcome addition to Broadbeach's busy restaurant scene. If you're a local or even if you're just on the Gold Coast for a holiday, book a table and tuck into some fresh, delicious Italian.
