The Raw Art Workshop in West Brisbane is hosting an exciting workshop series presented by celebrated Brisbane ceramicist Sharon Muir.Sharon's work has been featured in 'The Design Files' and she also stocks her wares nationwide, including 'The Nook' in West End. Entitled 'Simple Ceramics', this workshops series consists of 5 interactive workshops from Saturday 8th October, from 12.30pm to 2.30pm and is specifically designed for beginners.Throughout the workshop series, Sharon will teach students the basics of ceramics, including various principles and techniques, such as hand building techniques and how to work with moulds and glazes to create your own collection of original designs. The workshops are held in a relaxed and social atmosphere and Sharon will be on hand to give you one on one guidance.Once you have completed your piece, Sharon will organise the firing process and your finished piece can then be collected at a later date. All required materials will be provided and as you work on your piece, you will also enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks.The all-inclusive cost is $390 and places are strictly limited.
