, being part of the WakeUp hostel right next to Central Station, offers backpackers and other outgoing people great nightlife every night of the week. Great DJs play the latest music, and the bartenders mix everything from cocktails to beer, wine and spirits to great prices. You can mingle with people from all nationalities and discover the greatness in just-a-night-at-the-local-bar. It truly lives up to the motto "Mix with the world".

No matter what mood you might be in or the reason why you might need to let your hair down for a while, can give you just what you need. The beauty with a local bar is that you don't have to be in a full club mode, or go out with a bunch of people. You can come as you are and meet new people or simply try the great and refreshing cocktails.

The most enjoyable part of the bar might just be the live band. The band members and arrangement varies a bit, but they always treat you to an amazing music experience. Played are songs such as Stereophonics "Dakota", Eagle Eye Cherry's "Save Tonight" and MGMT's "Electric Feel". The band creates its own versions of the songs we all love, and it is difficult to resist the temptation to dance away.

On Tuesdays, the evening is a bit more relaxed and casual. At 7 pm, the Tight Arse Trivia night starts, with the possibility of great prices at the bar. The trivia night consists of rounds such as are famous faces, eat Weetbix and try to blow a baloon up, random trivia questions etc. You form teams, and the team with the craziest name gets rewarded. In between the rounds, music and great prices at the bar are offered. Do not hesitate to participate in this tricky game, you might be rewarded with a bar tab or one of the many giveaways.

At 9 pm the same evening, the band comes on. Usually a smaller formation on Tuesday, but with the same wonderful playlist. Enjoy the music until around 11 pm, and be amazed at how long you could dance for. If you still can not get enough, DJ Heidi takes over after the band.

On Wednesdays, the band is back with full force. The whole band plays again from 9 pm, but Wednesdays are usually a bit crazier. Packed with people and music/dance lovers, it is difficult to get heard in the crowd as you sing along with the band. Wednesdays are sure to fill your need for an all night out even at the local bar. Again, DJ Heidi starts playing the latest r&b, hip hop, house and club music.

All in all, the bar beneath the WakeUp hostel is famous for its very mixed, casual and friendly atmosphere. Do not be fooled by the name "bar" or the somewhat smaller venue - it is truly more than a bar on the side of a hostel.
