Since 2005, Shore Thing has been the biggest, most extravagant and talked-about New Year's Eve event. Shore Thing 2011 will be no different.
Shore Thing is a music festival being held at Sydney's spectacular Bondi Beach, where the famous ocean will cool you with sea breezes all night, while the music stays very hot.
Headlining acts for the festival include the world's most famous rapper - known as the 'Dogfather of Rap' - Snoop Dogg, who'll bring the old world cool to the stage while you bust a move with your best friends.
Also taking the stage is the mind-blowingly talented Scottish DJ, Calvin Harris, whose irresistible mix of electronica and nu-disco will have you shuffling and fist-pumping like it's 2012.
Last, but certainly not least, the Australian-British electronic rock band, Pendulum, will provide a soundtrack well worthy of a solid New Year's mosh.
Not only will the live acts be more than refreshing, the event is fully licensed so you can get cooler than cool at one of the many bars providing all kinds of liquid satisfaction (including the very sensible 'water bars).
