[ADVERT]In the past, I haven't been impressed with Japanese food - but I visited the with a group of friends and we all had teppanyaki banquets. I also drank a "Shogun's Delight" which is a sake (rice wine) and plum wine cocktail that tasted like a particularly sweet dessert wine (I also noticed that my chopstick skills decreased over the course of the meal). The meal started with spring rolls (divine and crispy) and miso soup (a lot like cabbage soup).

After that the teppanyaki truly began. Our chef cooked it all in front of us, expertly applying seasonings and sauces. The meat started off raw, in three giant plates.

At a certain point when we were enjoying the show so much that we felt completely relaxed, the cook threw food at us, which we attempted to catch in our mouths.

I got overexcited and forgot to photograph the fish, beef and chicken as they arrived, but here's the last piece of chicken beside the fried rice and vegetables. The chicken was tossed in honey and sesame seeds, and was beautiful.
