I'm an inner-city rambler who's happy to share my best finds with you. My writing turns up in the local street press, magazines, and more. (This week's pic: flamingo stencil, Rialto shops, Hardgrave Road.)

These beautiful brooches (made from vintage Japanese newspapers) are just one of the delights you'll find at Shibui Japanese Homewares in West End.

This small shop is full of exquisite Japanese ceramics, clothing, furniture and accessories, both vintage and contemporary. Prices range from a few dollars to thousands for antique Japanese furniture. (The brooches will set you back around $10.)
