Enjoy a beach escape in one of the six self-contained units at
Sheridans On Prince in
Coffs Harbour. Rooms complete with a kitchen, a queen bed, two singles and a fold out lounge - cost $90 a night for a minimum of two nights.
The Coffs Coast is a quaint place to relax by the Sheridans On Princes' private pool, Park beach or for a walk and up to the headland for a nice view. The apartments are a 400 metre walk to the beach front, The Park Beach Bowling Club, and
The Hoey Moey Motel.
The units are also a minute's drive away from
Park Beach Plaza if you're keen for a shop. It has most of the major chain stores.
For a quiet town, the atmosphere at The Hoey Moey was pumping on Monday night - it was New South Wales school holidays and the dinner special included $7.50
Barra-Mondy's.
Perhaps their flippant sense of humour lured the crowd in...
Over the road is
The Big Banana were you can spend a day ice skating, playing on water slides, view the copious banana plantations - a token of Coffs greenery, and take home a photo with that glorious yellow landmark.
There's also the opal gallery, whale watching starting down at the Jetty and extreme sports if you really want to let your hair down. For a little town on the highway there are some sights to see on the Coffs Coast.
The scenic road trip is 5 hours south of the Gold Coast and approximately 6 hours north of Sydney.
