Driving to , we were a little skeptical of how "bush-y" this bush walk would be as we drove through traffic and suburbia, but that is what's special about this track; it's a slice of the bush in the middle of civilization.

The is part of Ku-ring-gai National Park and it is located in the town of Turramurra. This is a fairly easy track and you can actually take along your fur friends as long as they stay on their leash. The track is 3.4kms return and should take about 1.5 hours to complete.

As you walk along the path, it will be hard to believe you were just on a regular street a few minutes ago. You will pass through a forest of tall trees (including the engdangered Blue Gum) and cross little creeks. It can get a little wet underfoot so make sure you are wearing shoes with grip.

This is the perfect walk to do when you need a bit of peace but don't have the time to travel anywhere far. The track can be accessed next to the Scout Hall on Warragal Rd, Turramurra.
