Twelfth Night; or What You Will, is one of William Shakespeare's most popular comedies set in the 1920's in the fantastical Illyria, a remote British Colonial outpost. The story tells the tale of Viola and her brother Sebastian. Viola is shipwrecked on the coast of Illyria and believing that her brother is dead, she disguises herself as a young man and takes on the name of Cesario. She enters the service of Duke Orsino, who uses her as an intermediary to profess his love for Olivia. However, Olivia falls in love with Cesario. Meanwhile Sebastian arrives in Illyria and a comedy of errors ensues.

Proudly brought to you by Shakespeare WA, this production of Twelfth Night features actors Gracie Gilbert as Viola, George Allen as Sebastian, Nick Candy as Malvolio, Hannah Day as Olivia, Nick Maclaine as Duke Orsino, Stephen Lee as Sir Toby Belch, James Hagan as Feste and David Davies as Sir Andrew Aguecheek.

As in past years, this hilarious comedy production will appeal to classical theatre fans a Shakespearean newcomers alike.
