St Josephs College is celebrating their 50 years in a big way by putting on a musical. SEUSSICAL The Musical is based on the books of Dr. Seuss and will bring to life all of your favourite characters. This production is going to be at the Burrinja Theatre - Cnr Glenfern Road and Matson Dr, Upwey (03) 9754 8723 for 3 days as follows. Wed 29 July (6.30pm - 9pm), Thu 30 July (7.30pm -10.00pm) & Fri 31 Jul (7.30pm - 10.00pm) 2015. This is a triumphant story about family, loyalty, the powers of friendship and community. The colourful characters of Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Getrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie, and a little boy with a big imagination, Jojo will transport you from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos.

This is the telling of Horton the elephant who discovers a speck of dust containing 'Whos', including Jojo. A 'Who' child sent off to military school for thinking too many 'thinks'. It turns out that Horton faces a double challenge trying to protect the 'Whos' from a world of naysayers and dangers and guard an abandoned egg left in his care by the irresponsible Maysie La Bird. Horton faces a plethora of misfortunes, but his neighbour Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. How will it all end?
