Redcliffe Parade in Redcliffe.
Visitors of all ages will appreciate cooling down in the swimming lagoon and wading pool on hot days, while children can entertain themselves with waterfalls, slides and water jets. There's also a nautical themed playground for the landlubbers to enjoy. The pools are lifeguard patrolled during the busy times of the year and ramps are provided for those with disabilities.
If you're going to travel all the way to Redcliffe, you might as well make a day of it. The lagoon area provides barbeques and picnic tables so that you and your family can enjoy a refreshing waterside lunch. Alternately, you could take advantage of the small poolside snack stall.
If all the swimming and sun hasn't tired you out, why not take advantage of the bikeways with a leisurely ride along the water? Other amenities include public showers and toilets and a large car park.
Settlement Cove Lagoon is an open, public facility that is available to everyone at all hours of the day, although the Moreton Bay Regional Council encourages use during daylight hours.
