Most kids have at some stage wished they had a cubby house to play in and escape to. in Ashgrove offers a ready-made cubby house style fort for kids to do just that. The wooden fort features a climbing wall, a wobbly bridge and a generous ground cover of brown chip bark to protect little feet.

Alongside the fort are super swings and a see-saw, all of which are shaded by mature gum trees.

Enoggera Creek bike path hugs the park and leads to the wonderful Bank Street reserve and its hectares of natural bushland.

The park has a basketball court for the older kids and lots of green space to simply run, kick a ball or rest on the grassy lawn. There is no separate dog park, so if you take pooch remember to keep them on a leash.
