Seaford Library

Books are the main drawcard of the library, at Seaford Library you can find sections dedicated to young children and another for young adults, as well as all the usual fiction, non-fiction, reference, romance, and crime amongst other genres. There is plenty of available space in the library to read in peace, but you can also borrow them to take home if you have a library membership. As well as books, the library hosts a large range of current magazines, this is great for those with an addiction to the glossies but without a paycheck to match.

You can also access the internet and computers at the library, there are plenty of computers to use, as well as iPads and laptops that can be hired in the library for browsing use. For those without a home internet connection, or without frequent access to one, the library offers a handy alternative.

Rows of Books

Seaford Library is also a toy and sport library. This means that anyone with a library membership can hire toys or sporting equipment for use elsewhere. The library hosts a large range of these toys and sporting goods, but only two items can be hired at a time on one library membership. Make sure you have enough memberships to hire the goods you might need.

Children's Corner

Families will enjoy the library facilities. Not only does it offer plenty of space and books to read to your children, and entertain them in the dedicated children's area, but if also offers family friendly activities like story time. At 10:30am on Wednesday mornings 3-5 year-olds are invited to come listen to the stories being told.

Seaford Library shares its facilities with local Seaford 6-12 students, this means that sometimes some facilities may be unavailable as they are being used by students.

Joining Seaford Library is free for those living in the area, head to the Onkaparinga libraries page to find out more about it. To find out about your local library, visit your city council's website.
