The Gentoo Penguin can reach speeds of up to thirty six kilometres per hour when swimming in water ranging from –10 degrees to 5 degrees celsius.

More interestingly enough is that you do not even have to visit Antarctica to see these majestic creatures as they call home, along with the amazing King Penguin and other magnificent marine life.

With twelve themed zones, including one of the world's largest saltwater crocodiles, the world's largest collection of sea horses and the only elephant sharks in captivity, is a must visit!

There are many interactive displays that will amaze, educate and entertain; you can even get up close and personal with different experiences, such as feeding seahorses and fish, a behind the scenes tour or if you want to truly be adventurous and have an experience like no other, go for a dive with sharks!

Don't forget to check out the talk and feedings shows of the beautiful marine life that call it home here at the aquarium.

The kids will love it here and it will make the perfect day out during the school holidays and of course, all year round. There are plenty of things to see and do here.

The aquarium is fully wheelchair accessible. They have a cafe onsite too, so you can grab a bite to eat and rest those legs after a day-filled adventure with spectacular marine life.
