It's time to don your cowboy hat and boots and head on over to the Scenic Rim for some good old-fashioned country hospitality. In the coming months, there are three fabulous family fun events. Whether its carrot picking, tempting your taste buds with delicious food or viewing the elegant Clydesdales, there is sure to be something to keep you entertained.
A World Apart Festival

Follow the wooden signs through Mt Barney to discover five unique locations for the ninth annual
A World Apart Festival . With free tastings and tours at each destination, this is one event not to be missed. This event is a feast for the senses with its dramatic scenery, incredible gardens, local produce, amazing art and live music.
Tourism operators who have opened their doors this year include Mt Barney Lodge, Pietro's Pizza, Barney Creek Vineyard, Ridgeline Studio and Scenic Rim Hampers.
Take a bush tucker tour at Mt Barney Lodge, feast on mouthwatering wood fired pizzas at Pietro's Pizza, wander around the rambling gardens of Barney Creek Vineyard and Winery and conclude your day viewing remarkable artwork at Ridgeline Studio and sampling local indulgences at Scenic Rim Hampers.
Clydesdale Spectacular

Celebrate Boonah's Scottish heritage at the
Clydesdale Spectacular . Competitions, demonstrations, whip-cracking, haggis, caber tossing and highland dancing are just some of the activities you can enjoy.
The pony and donkey rides are popular with children as well as the Templin Historical Society's stall where youngsters can try corn husking and shelling.
The Grand Parade is a highlight where the pipe and drum bands combine to create a stirring piece of music.
Winter Harvest Festival

The Scenic Rim is home to some of Queensland's best produce and this festival celebrates its food, wine and farming, The
Winter Harvest Festival is held at the Aratula Sports Complex. Inside, there is an amazing array stalls selling fruit, wines, olives, jams and cheeses. The cooking demonstrations are also popular among visitors.
Outside, the wine bar buzzes with activity, live music fills the air and children play totem tennis and jump on the jumping castle. Aromas from the food vendors fill the air. Delicious food includes spanakopita (from Charlwood Organic Farm), smoked salmon wood fired pizza (from Pietro's Pizza Café) and gelato (from Pietro's Pizza Café and Rathdowney Olive Oil).
Don't miss the Tractor Pulling Competition where teams of 12 people pull a tractor 20 metres.
