Anarchy, My Dear, the latest musical explosion of indie punk project Say Anything, was released to immense success in March this year. Now, Max Bemis, the ingenious, provocative and quirky brain behind the music is bringing it to Australia for the first ever Say Anything headline tour.
It's been three years since the Californian alternative-punk rockers wowed Australian audiences at the 2009 Soundwave Festival, and now, supported by The Get Away Plan and with more than ten years and four studio albums under their belts, the immeasurable amount of anticipation felt by Aussie fans will be rewarded.
Having reconnected with producer Tim O'Heir, and fuelled by a sense of urgency and aggression that is one of the trademarks of Say Anything's unique sound, the collaboration will be a showcase of raw energy, dynamism and exuberance brought to Australian stages for a live attack of the senses.
