The Samsung AFI - AACTA Festival of Film is currently on in Sydney and Melbourne.
During this film festival members of the Australian Film Institute (AFI) and Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) and members of the public can view thirty three Australian feature films which are in competition an an AACTA award. Previous feature films to receive this prestigious accolade include Animal Kingdom, Samson & Delilah, The Black Balloon, Romulus, My Father and Ten Canoes.
Feature films running in competition for the 2011 AACTA Film Awards include The Cup, Oranges And Sunshine, The Loved Ones, RED DOG, Legend Of The Guardian: The Owls Of Ga'hoole, Snowtown, Sleeping Beauty, Red Hill and The Hunter.

AACTA Members receive complimentary single entry to each session.
Non-members can purchase individual session tickets ($13.00) directly from the participating cinema.
