Enjoy a Day at .

Hidden amongst the towering buildings of Top Ryde city is . A suburban oasis featuring a modern well appointed playground that children of all abilities will love. They will love climbing, sliding and swinging on the brightly coloured play equipment. There's even a basket swing, supernova and a climbing frame, all on synthetic softfall.

For the older kids, there's a cycle path, synthetic basketball and bocce courts.

Adjacent to the playground is Cheeky2cafe. An open, airy cafe with plenty of room for strollers and bikes. With a reasonably priced menu, it's a great place to eat and relax while keeping an eye on the kids.

Picnic shelters and BBQ facilities overlook the sports field and gardens. Public toilet facilities are nearby and are easily accessible for visitors with mobility restrictions.

During the year, Ryde council hosts many events, including the "All the Colours of Ryde" festival.

Take a walk around the wide, tree-lined paths and enjoy the established gardens which also include the cenotaph & historic band rotunda.

The rotunda was recently restored honouring its sixty-five year old history. Ryde residents, together with members of the Ryde Historical Society, designed a new rotunda floor. A wisteria pattern in grey and rose coloured granite encircles the grand structure and is repeated inside. Etched into the granite is a collection of images and written anecdotes that capture fond memories of . The project was completed in June 2009.

Ryde's original cenotaph was moved in 2007 from outside the old council chambers on Ryde Road due to road construction works. A new cenotaph was erected and rededicated in the park in 2008. Granite portions from the original cenotaph have been incorporated into the design. The new cenotaph cradles a central obelisk in granite pointing towards eleven o'clock. Inside the obelisk glows a light source mimicking the eternal flame.

Parking is available in Argyle or Princes Street.
