There is a choice between the half marathon, and 10km or 5km runs or walks; all events of which start and finish at
Federation Square.
The Age Run Melbourne will be held on the 15 July 2012. However the 3km kids run (also as part of this event) will take place a day earlier on the Saturday; the 14 July 2012, and the latter event will not be timed.
So much has changed. The event no longer starts at Yarra Park or finishes at the MCG. And so today the course continues around the inner city parks of Melbourne such as the King's Domain and the Royal Botanical Gardens.
This is an event that also raises funds for charity; however the uniqueness of this running and fitness event (as opposed to other similar events) is that you can decide exactly which charity you would like your entry fee and any additional donations to go towards. This annual event also coincides with the
Health and Fitness Expo.
