To coincide with the Good Friday Appeal for the Royal Children's Hospital (in raising much needed funds) comes the annual
Run For The Kids event.
There are two different courses you can choose from for the 2012 event. First up there is the 5.7km (short) course, where for the first time event participants will be able to run, jog or walk through the Domain Tunnel and over the Bolte Bridge.
The longer (long) course is 14.1kms and keeps with tradition. Participants will get access to roads that are normally off limits. Time limits do apply. For instance, participants must complete the Westgate Freeway (6km mark) by 10:30am. Prizes are also up for grabs.
Certificates will also be available, and for both courses training is recommended. Further details on Mona's training program can be found by clicking
