When I want to stay in style in Melbourne, there is only one real choice for me. The Royce Hotel combines style with elegance in a boutique five star establishment on the fringe of the CBD.
The foyer alone is stunning, and a great preview of what to expect from your room. A huge spiral staircase fills most of the area. The staff are lovely, and make you feel like you are important. Any issues at all will be ironed out fast, not that you can expect many.
The rooms are spacious and the decor is modern. The rooms look expensive so you feel as though you are getting your money's worth.
The beds are divine, right down to the linen and the pillows (oh the pillows), which are 100% goose down, and unbelievably comfortable.
The bathroom is stylish and bright. A window overlooks the rest of the hotel room, which gives the illusion the bathroom is bigger than it actually is.
Everything about this hotel is luxury, and definitely one to consider if you want to stay in style and comfort.
