Located in the outer-eastern suburb of Lilydale , is a firm favourite of many locals and has been highly recommended by the Yarra Valley Wine and Food Society.

Whether you eat in or take-away you'll find a huge selection of Indian curries, daal, Nepalese specialties, naan, biryani, tandoori and more.

Start with an entree – you'll find classic Tandoori Chicken or Chicken Tikka, or try their specialty Chicken Mo-Mo (steamed chicken dumplings). Other favourites include Onion Bhaji and tandoori Mushrooms.

When it comes to mains, their meat dishes are extensive. Chicken, beef, lamb, goat, fish and seafood all feature heavily on the menu, cooked in a variety of delicious sauces including korma, masala and madras. There's also a huge range of vegetarian dishes, including the mouth-watering eggplant and potato curry and a selection of lentil-based daals.

The dishes range from the mild Chicken Butter Cream to the very hot Goanese Vindaloo options – talk to one of the friendly staff if you're unsure of what to choose. They're also happy to modify dishes to suit dietary needs or simply to suit your taste.

Also try some fresh plain or stuffed Naan Bread, Roti Bread and rice to round out your meal. For dessert, while you're not spoiled for choice, you will find the much-loved Gulab Jamun (deep-fried sweet dumplings) on the menu, as well as homemade mango ice-cream.
