It's been 50 years since the Beatles first toured Australia, but somehow they missed Rottnest Island on that historic visit. That will be remedied on the weekend of 31 October – 2 November when the inaugural Rottnest Beatles Fest takes over the island. This great event offers three days of fabulous entertainment for fans of all ages and best of all, much of it is completely free.


Proudly supported by the Rottnest Island Authority and Hotel Rottnest, the festival will feature free live music as well as a host of other events. Catch The Australian Beatles , well-known local Chris Murphy , dance to a Beatles disco track or belt out your favourite tune at Beatles Karaoke or the Open Mic events. There's even a quiz night offering great prizes and the chance to be crowned "Best Beatles Brain 2014".



The Rottnest Picture Hall will be joining in the fun with showings of Beatles classics Hard Day's Night and Help plus the 2007 musical Across the Universe.

The weekend entertainment options also include a Beatles Eco Adventure Boat Tour and a Magical Mystery Island Tour. The full program will be available in September meanwhile follow the Facebook page for the latest news.
