The Rocks is a tourist precinct north of Sydney's CBD and is famous for its shops and weekend markets. During summer, the weekend markets start at 5:30 pm each Friday and with more than 60 speciality stores and free outdoor gigs throughout the area, it is one of the best ways to start the weekend. Enjoy the Rocks markets by moonlight from 5th November 2010 till the end of February 2011.

Running in its 9th year, the market has stalls selling fresh produce, flowers, chocolate, perfumes and oils, home decorations and also a dedicated designers' and lifestyle section.

There is also an array of gourmet food to choose from and some dessert choices for those with a sweet tooth.

With free live music and gigs all evening, its a great place to enjoy a warm summer night, some shopping and a selection of excellent food and a cold drink with mates. This November's acts include Fergus Brown, Lolo Lovina and Paul Greene.

You can browse the markets for some early Christmas shopping too. With so much to offer each Friday, summer nights never felt so good.
