Riverbeats Festival
The Riverbeats Festival is Paramatta's yearly event designed to remind the rest of Sydney that it's actually quite a fun place.
The highlight of the festival is Riverbeats Live which is on this Saturday night (15th of November) from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.
From the website:
"Bring a picnic rug and sit on the Riverbank at sunset for an orchestrated light, visual and sound spectacular, with ground breaking performances that explore the river through the eyes of our performers."
WeekendNotes recommends that you bring a picnic basket to help you make an evening of it.
They have some interesting performers lined up as you can see from the program.
Decoder Ring in particular are very good and worth making the trip for.
Here is the down low on getting there.
Why? Great performers and a great venue.
WHEN: Saturday the 15th of November from 6.30pm
WHERE: Parramatta Riverbank
COST: Free
