Rice Bar is a Malaysian restaurant in Carlton. Easily accessible by public transport and right near Tutto Premium Frozen Yogurt & Desserts . Open 7 days a week, it's a pretty casual place, mostly filled with local Uni students. I went with all my friends (read also: by myself) earlier this week.

I ordered the Honey Chicken, for just over $10. Decently sized, it arrived within minutes. It was yum, but too sweet for me to finish (duh, Gen, it was honey). When I got up to pay, a kind staff member offered me a doggy bag.[MOB207] The orange slice was a nice touch.

My meal came with a complimentary pot of green tea. At least I think it was green tea. I like coffee. But I drank it, because it was free.

Rice Bar seems to have heaps of dishes to choose from ("not only rice": noodles, soups, curries) and they're all around the $10 mark. I'd try something else next time.

You'll get super efficient service at Rice Bar and the meals are good value for money – just as long as you actually like the dish you ordered.
